Same Day Appointment Clinic (SDAC)

  • SDAC is designed to provide healthcare for non-emergent medical needs of our patients
  • Non-emergent medical needs only
  • 1 mid level provider:

SDAC Access

  • Appointments scheduled same day with scheduling starting at 7:00 am.
  • Open 7:30 am-4:30 pm M-F (hours may vary)
  • SDAC phone lines open at 6:30 AM M-F
  • Walk-ins accepted 7 AM - 3:30 PM.
  • Closed for weekends and holidays
  • 1st appointment at 8am - last one at 4 pm.



 

 

What is SDAC?

SDAC

SDAC is designed to provide healthcare for non-emergent medical needs of our patients for a short or one time episode.

Designed to deliver healthcare services in a timely and efficient manner for the patient we serve.

Mission

Dedicated to provide an efficient clinic-based, high quality visit for the patients of the Red Lake Healthcare facility

What can SDAC do for you?

Services include non-emergency conditions that deserve prompt attention, same day illnesses or minor accidents requiring first aid treatment such as:

Acute Illnesses

  • Earaches
  • Backaches, muscle aches
  • Non narcotic medication refills
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Sinus infections, colds, coughs and bronchitis
  • Pink eye, red or itchy eyes
  • Flu or flu like symptoms
  • Simple skin infections and rashes
  • Concerns about STD’s
  • Pregnancy testing

Acute Injuries

  • Sprains, strains and bruises
  • Small cuts or abrasions
  • Simple foreign body and ear wax removal

Services not provided in SDAC:

  • Sick infants less than 3 months old
  • Severe dizziness, severe headache
  • Chest pain
  • Shortness of breath, severe asthma
  • Abdominal or belly pain
  • Serious broken bones
  • Deep lacerations
  • Rectal bleeding
  • Severe dehydration
  • Vomiting blood
  • Acute seizures
  • Vaginal bleeding/miscarriages
  • Fevers 103 or higher
  • Extensive lab tests
  • Pregnancy complications or labor & delivery
  • Refill of narcotics or controlled medications
  • No scheduled IV therap

Patients with these above mentioned complaints will be seen in the ER. 

Patients seeking routine care for a chronic condition such as Diabetes will be referred to a Primary Care doctor in clinic.
